Comprehensive Sites

PREGNANCY

Family Health continues to provide pregnancy services to the community. Drs. Tom Brown, Carlos Menendez, Jennifer Rawlins and Beth Vehre comprise Family Health's team of Board Certified Family Physicians who provide obstetric care to the women of our practice.  Dr. Michael Clark is our board certified obstetrician/gynecologists on staff.

Our practice is continuing to accept new obstetric patients. Early prenatal care is the first and best step to increase your chances for a healthy outcome for you and your baby. If you know you are pregnant (or know of someone who is), and have not yet made an appointment, please call today. Our appointment phone number is 548-9680.

VIRTUAL CHECK UP

iVillage.com's site offers a virtual check up for women.   Go to this link http://www.allhealth.com/virtualcheckup/novis.html, download the software if you have at least a 133 mHz Pentium, and try it out.   We concur with their conclusion; that this checkup should not replace a visit to your family physician.  Please call us if you have any questions.

DIET AND EXERCISE

A low fat diet is important component of any weight loss program and easier to follow than you would think. Our registered dietian, Pam Bailey, after receiving a consultation from one of our physicians, will be able to show you how to begin and keep to a low fat diet. She can be reached at 547-1776.

If you are thinking about having a baby in the future, diet is important, particularly proper intake of folic acid.  Read more about this topic at the March of Dime's Web Site:
